The Padel Federation of Ireland are delighted to announce that the Irish Padel Tour will be organising the next tournament in Bushy park Tennis and Padel Club.

Dates Saturday 13^th and Sunday 14^th of November 2021                                www.irishpadeltour.ie.

The categories for the tournament are 

Men and Women

BEGINNER,  LOW INTERMEDIATE and HIGH INTERMEDIATE

The format of the tournament is as follows: (this may change depending on the number of participating players)

-Matches will be played to the best of 9 games. Semifinal and final will be played to the best of two sets with a tiebreak.
-There will be a National point system in place (please see chart below).
-Prizes for the top 2 teams in each category: trophies and padel gear vouchers.

The entry fee per player for all tournament is €18
(excludes Federation fee for competitions: only 25 euro payable annually only for advanced and open tournaments)

RULES OF PLAY

All the rules of padel and disciplinary code apply for this tournament under the International Padel Federation regulations and as stated by the Padel Federation of Ireland.

The Irish Padel Tour is organised by the Padel Federation of Ireland for all affiliated clubs in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Dear Bushy Park Players,

We will be running a Halloween Tennis camp for 6-12 year olds this October break!

It will be running from Monday the 25^th of October to Friday the 29^th and will be on from 9am to 1pm each day. These camps are for children of all levels and will be an excellent way to make new friends. It will also be a great way to improve your child’s tennis skills while enjoying spooky Halloween fun with our coaches and really get into the Halloween spirit.

The price is €120 for the week of the camp and everything will be provided for you here. All you will need is lunch, a drink and a raincoat in case it rains!

Dear members,

There is currently construction going on in the park outside the main entrance

of the club, and the entrace will be blocked for few days.

From today our members must access the club through the entrance down

the road and around the skate park.

The other entrance available is at the top of the road in front of the roundabout.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS AND RESTRICTIONS

-To access club courts, players must be a current member or a participant on an approved Tennis Ireland or Padel Federation of Ireland Programme. Therefore, only members are allowed to play - this includes SILVER membership (10 games pass - 48 euro).

-Double's play is allowed, if playing partners are from the same household.

-Club house and changing rooms, showers will remain closed.

-Essential toilet facilities will be available in case of emergency.

-Coaches should prepare and present a Risk Assessment document and get approval to coach from the Club Covid 19 Committee at the Club.

-A pod, up to a maximum of 6 Junior players (u18 yrs.), can be coached per court.

-A maximum of 4 junior players (u18 yrs.) can operate on the court at any one time while remaining in their own sections of the court with up to 2 other players rotating in and out as required.

-A pod of 8 players per court is allowable for red ball activities, subject to social distancing protocols being implemented.

-Adult (Over 18 yrs.) coaching activities must be limited to a maximum of two households per court. Players must remain in their own sections of the court.

-Our measures and procedures are under constant review and will be updated as advice from Government and health authorities evolves and we will endeavor to keep all players and visitors updated.
