We are delighted to announce that Club Bushy Park will be organising a trip to Wimbledon on July 1st & 2nd. 

We will fly to London on the afternoon of July 1st and then spend the whole day of July 2nd at Wimbledon.
 

Members & Non Members are welcome. Spaces are limited.

Cost:
 

€250 for Adults 

€200 for Under 16s
 

This fee includes flights, hotel, transport and GA ticket.

(Prices are based on 2 people sharing, Under 18s must be accompanied).

FREE TRIAL - Launching Our New Fitness Programmes

This summer we are launching our new Outdoor Fitness Zone. We now offer all our amazing members and friends the chance to play and train in the club. This Wednesday at 6.30 pm we are offering all members and friends/family a FREE trial class. Just book in with a member of staff so we know numbers and can plan accordingly. 

Richard, our new head of Fitness in the club, has designed a new training zone and also a range of classes including Mum and Baby classes, One to one Personal Training and evening Functional Fitness class.   

What´s involved in the classes?
 

Mum & Baby fitness are very relaxed and enjoyable classes. We set up the "Baby Zone" for the little one. You can bring their favourite toy and monitor them while you train. Training is done at your pace and a great way to get back into fitness or continue your fitness journey. 

Functional Fitness Training allows you to train like a professional athlete as Richard programmes training on a 6 week Term. Classes include a mobility Warm up Strength section, Speed and Agility Conditioning drills and endurance training linking Core stability exercises with a group flexibility routine. Classes run for 60 mins and you will be shown exercises before training yourself while form is monitored by Richard. 

How do I Join the classes?
 

Both of the classes run on set days. 

Mum and Baby Tues & Thurs 10am

Functional Fitness  Mon & Wednesday 6.30pm

Each term is €50 for 6 consecutive weeks.

The prestigious Madison International Padel Tournament comes back to Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club for the fourth time from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May.

You will be part of an International Padel Circuit organised in 33 different locations around the world and with over 3,000 padel players!

The Padel Federation of Ireland are hosting the tournament in Bushy Park Padel & Tennis Club in Terenure and in Rockbrook Padel Club in Rathfarnham.

There are 4 categories: Men (A, B and C), Ladies (A and B), Mixed and Juniors (u14s and u17s).

Great prizes and official polo shirt and Bullpadel gymsack for all participants (please see poster for further details).

Entry Fee is €45 per team for adults and €15 per player for juniors.

The Bushy Park Tennis & Padle Club is delighted to announce an Open Day on Sunday 10th March from 3-5 pm.

Our staff will be on site to show you the facilities as well as introducing you to the new tennis, padel and fitness programmes.

We are also very pleased to introduce you to our team:

The coaches and staff will be all present to get you to try out tennis, padel and the fitness programme.

There will be tennis and padel exhibition matches and visitors will be able to play with top players and the coaches. You can also try a bit of fitness and put your stamina to the test!

You will also have a chance to win some cool prizes with the challenges organised by the coaches.

Visitors can obtain full information on the adult and children programmes for the next few months in the Club.

Term and Conditions Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club Multiactivity Camps

1. No Provisional bookings will be taken. Places can only be secured on receipt of completed form and payment.

2. Places will be filled on a first come first served basis.

3. A Parent/guardian must sign application form.

 4. All medical conditions must be clearly stated on the application form.

5. Children must bring a packed lunch, rain gear and sun cream each day.

6. The hours of the camp are 9.30 am-2.30pm each day.

7. Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club are not responsible for children outside of the above hours.

8. Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property belonging to the participants.

9. Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club reserves the right to cancel part of/or the entire programme with all payments refunded.

10. All valuables must be left at home.

11. Information of activities is given in good faith. All arrangements and activities are subject to change depending on weather condition, programme schedule and other arrangements. Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club has the right to cancel amend or alter activities accordingly.

12. Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club will keep a current insurance policy for the duration of the Camp.

13. If a child is unable to attend a full refund will be given if 7 days’ notice or a doctor’s note is given.

14. Lost property will be kept until May 31st 2019.

15. Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club reserves the right to suspend any child that is disruptive to the camp due to misbehaviour or whose behaviour puts them or others at risk.

16. Mobile phones are not permitted at camp.

17. I/We consent to the use of any photographs that may be taken of our child during the camp to be used, distributed or shown as Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club sees appropriate. The Padel Federation of Ireland are delighted to launch the Irish Padel Tour, the new padel circuit for all padel players in Ireland.

Our Club will be hosting two Irish Padel Tour competitions this year, one in March and the All Ireland in September.

The new Bushy Park Padel League 2019 is starting in under 4 weeks, on Sunday 10th February.
 

It will consist of a ranking league in different groups and the games will be played at your convenience on Mondays, Fridays or Saturdays. (Matches can be re-arranged ). The League will be go on until May 2019.
 

The format is as follows: you will increase your ranking if you win games with the option to go through to the next level and play against new teams. There will be an update for the league every day after every game played.
 

If you are already a registered player, just log into your profile and make sure you choose your appropriate level. If anyone is not sure about the level, coaches from the club will help you find the correct level for you.
 

You can download the Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club app on your phone from the Apple Store or Google Play.
 

The 5 categories for the groups are: (Limited places available 9-10 teams max per level.)
 

Beginner level

Low Intermediate

Upper Intermediate

High Intermediate

Advanced level
 

Matches will be played to the best of 3 sets. Full calendar will be sent to every team.
 

League points:
 

-winning teams 2 points

-defeated teams 1 point
 

In case you choose a partner with different ranking, an arithmetic rule will be applied to obtain the level.
 

The cost of the league will be just €15.00 per player and it will entitle players to obtain a Padel Federation annual licence.

MACXTENNIS ACADEMY in Bushy Park

Wednesday Morning Adult Tennis programmes specifically designed for Adult players who are looking to improve their Doubles Play and meet new players to train with! 

The MacXTennisAdult programme will be led by former Irish National coach, Paul Casey and Irish Davis Cup professional, John McGahon. 

Sessions will run every Wednesday morning from February 6th - March 6th. There will be two classes based at the level of the player, including session 1: 10-11:30 am (Non League / Charity league Class 7 & 6) and session 2: (class 5 upwards) 11:30-1 pm.

A new president was elected at the last AGM of the Padel Federation of Ireland held in our Headquarters at Bushy Park Dublin last November. Naomi Nicholl was elected unanimously to lead the Padel Federation for the coming years. The former President, Mr Joe Cabello, will continue his involvement in the Padel Federation of Ireland as honorary lifetime President. We wish to thank Joe for his amazing work and commitment to padel at the helm of the Federation since it was founded in 2011 and we wish every success to Naomi Nicholl in her new position as President.

Naomi Nicholl has been involved in padel over the last few years, including the areas of coaching, marketing and management of Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club.

There were also new officers elected at our AGM to work on the National Committee. We wish to thank them for their commitment and generosity in accepting their nominations. We would also like to show our gratitude to all officers serving on the committee for their amazing support and dedication to the spreading of padel in Ireland over the last few years.
