On Saturday August 4th, former Irish ATP Pro & Davis Cup Player from MacXTennisAcademy, John McGahon will collaborate with TOP 50 ATP Pro Ruben Hidalgo from Spain and the Spanish Tennis Way to run a workshop in Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club, Dublin.

This workshop will show how successful Nations and players have made it in this ruthless game and provide an insight of the training, environment and competition that led to countless ATP Champions.

We are very pleased to announce that Dave Miley, Mark Finnegan from All sports recruitment in the USA and Oscar Borras from Spanish Tennis Way will also be guest speakers at our workshop!

Dave is the former ITF Executive Director of Tennis Development previously responsible for overseeing the juniors, veterans and wheelchair activities of the ITF as well as the ITF Development Programme. Since joining the ITF in 1991 he visited over 150 countries advising National Associations, conducting coaches’ workshops and directing junior training programmes. Dave has been involved in the writing of many of the ITF’s coach education publications including: the Advanced Coaches Manual; the ITF Schools Tennis Initiative Teachers Manual; and the ITF’s “Being a Better Tennis Parent”. Dave has been a British LTA Level 3 Professional Coach since 1984, was Irish Men’s Doubles Champion in 1984 and 1987 and is a former captain of the Irish National Men’s Team.

Currently Dave is an International Tennis Consultant for Universal Tennis Ratings and Development Consultant for the Asian Tennis Federation.
